Boarding cattery - treating your cats like they were our own
Here at Barndale, your cat will be treated with care, love and affection - we treat all animals as if they were our own.
No matter what breed or personality your cat may have, they are welcome at our boarding cattery, but they must be fully vaccinated and treated for worms and fleas.

Please note that we have dog boarding kennels and 10 acres for horse grazing.
Cat boarding accommodation
Purpose built units where your cat eats and sleeps individually. Family units are available for 2 or more cats from the same family to share.
For your cat’s comfort we encourage you to supply your cat’s usual bedding or an item of old clothing, as familiar smells from home help them to settle more easily.
The units are clean and fully disinfected and quality litter is used. The cattery is heated in winter — hot water bottles are supplied for extra warmth if required.
In summer it is cool and airy, and a radio plays during the day to create a homely background sound.
Cat feeding
Your cat will be fed twice daily, breakfast and dinner, with Chef and Whiskas tinned meat/fish and biscuits.
If your cat requires a special diet due to an allergy or medical condition, we request that you provide this food and we will feed this at no extra charge.
Your cat will have free access to water but we do not feed milk unless we are specifically requested.

Exercising your cat
During the day your cat will be free to wander outside in either of our two outside playgrounds where he/she can bask in the sun, sleep in the shade, climb on tree branches or play with toys.
In wet weather your cat can choose to stay in bed or play inside on the cat gym.
Is your cat, dog or horse frail, elderly or nervous around people? We can care for all animals, no matter what requirements or personality they have.
Moving overseas or across the country?
We can arrange transportation of your animals, both domestically and internationally for an extra charge.
From picking them up from the airport, to taking them to our cattery to relax while you make the move, we deal with everything.
