All cats are welcome
Barndale Boarding Cattery welcomes cats of all ages and personalities – elderly and frail, nervous and shy. We are also able to care for those with medical conditions such as diabetes, thyroid, heart and kidney conditions. We are able to administer any medication required. There is no extra charge for this service. Local vets are readily available if required. If your cat requires a special diet for medical reasons we ask that you supply this and we will feed it at no extra cost.
Individual units
Each cat has their own unit to eat and sleep in, or family units for cats from the same family. They have comfy beds with heat pads in the winter (you can also bring your cat’s own bed). We have a variety of food to tempt the most fussy of eaters or you can bring your own if you prefer.
Specially designed outside areas
During the day all cats are free to move around the cattery at their will. They are not confined to cages or runs. They can choose to be out in the fresh air, as every cat has access to our secure, specially designed, all weather outside areas which overlook the surrounding countryside. But if inside is their preference there are spaces for them to sleep or play. Barndale Boarding Cattery is ideal for long term stays.

We welcome viewings and encourage you to visit our cattery to reassure yourself that our cattery is the right one for your cat.

Viewings are by appointment any day of the week, preferably in the afternoon. Please telephone or email to set up a time.

Please remember all cats must be current with vaccinations, worm and flea treatments and we need to sight proof of these.
